Helping One Patient At a Time

“I know my life will not be the same as before…”

My dad was just permanently laid off, and it would take several weeks for my treatment process. How would we get to Arizona, and where would we stay once we got there? Those were some of the little things we wondered about, but the big one was, how were we going to pay for treatments? Kids at school were raising some funds, but there was no way they could get that much money raised. We believed that our faith in God had a lot to do with how things worked out last minute, and we began to pray that God would work things out this time too. Wow, did we get answers!

One lady I met getting treatment heard I had to come back for six weeks. She wanted to help us find a place to stay, and a friend of hers provided an apartment for us! A brother of a friend provided a car for us to use. Then the biggest shock was that a lot of people I haven’t even met gave money to the Fullness of Life Foundation, to help families like ours who could not afford to relocate to obtain treatments! Our family was provided with a newly furnished condo to stay in while we received our care. That took a lot of financial pressure off of us.

We went home to get school set up, and made arrangements so grandma, mom, and dad could take turns in being out here with me. Then dad could take care of my brothers and sisters while looking for work.

My whole family is thankful. Not just because of the Fullness of Life Foundation helping us, but because I know it will help me get my life back.
